Your HESTA Course information is not added to Epic Retirement's general customer, newsletter or marketing database as a result of your participation in the Course.
Participation in the Course does not automatically subscribe you to Epic Retirement's newsletters or other marketing communications.

Survey responses are collected through LearnWorlds and are linked to your individual Course profile within the platform. This means that survey responses are not anonymous at the point of collection.
Comments or feedback from surveys may also be included in Course reporting or evaluation materials without identifying the participant who provided them, unless the participant has separately consented to being identified, such as through the testimonial consent process.
5. How we use Course information
We do not use your HESTA Course details to send you Epic Retirement marketing communications or add you to Epic Retirement's general marketing database.

7. Testimonials
Providing a testimonial is voluntary.
Where we seek permission to use a testimonial, you will be provided with a consent option and associated terms explaining how your testimonial may be used.
We will only use an identifiable testimonial in accordance with the consent you have provided.
Choosing not to provide or consent to the use of a testimonial will not affect your participation in, or access to, the Course.
8. How your information is stored
Your Course information is held within the dedicated HESTA LearnWorlds Course environment and is accessed by Epic Retirement as required for the administration, delivery, support and evaluation of the Course.

Where personal information is handled outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it is handled appropriately and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

10. How long we keep your Course information
After the 120-day Course access period has ended, the Course is retired and participant data associated with the Course is deleted from the Course environment.

Information contained in a testimonial may also be retained and used where you have provided consent for that use, in accordance with the terms of that consent.

Your HESTA Course information is not added to Epic Retirement's general customer, newsletter or marketing database as a result of your participation in the Course.

As you participate in the Course, additional information about your participation may be collected or generated within LearnWorlds.
Depending on how you use the Course, this may include:
- lessons, modules and other Course content you access;
- Course progress and engagement information;
- quiz and activity responses;

- Q&A questions or submissions;
- discussion or community contributions;
- participation in Course activities; and
- other information you voluntarily provide while using the Course platform.
This information may be linked to your LearnWorlds Course profile and may therefore be identifiable within the platform.

As the Course is offered to HESTA members, Epic Retirement provides HESTA with reporting about participation, engagement and participant experiences in the Course.
This may include aggregated or de-identified information relating to:
- Course participation and activation;
- lesson and module engagement;
- Course progression;
- Course completion;
- survey findings;
- engagement with Course activities; and
- participant feedback and insights.

LearnWorlds maintains its own privacy, security and data-protection practices in relation to information processed through its platform.

The Course is hosted on LearnWorlds, which uses cloud-based infrastructure and service providers to deliver its platform. As a result, personal information held within the Course platform may be stored or processed outside Australia.
Where personal information is handled outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it is handled appropriately and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

10. How long we keep your Course information
Access to the Course is provided for 120 days.
After the 120-day Course access period has ended, the Course is retired and participant data associated with the Course is deleted from the Course environment.
This includes participant account information and information generated through participation in the Course, including identifiable survey responses, Course activity and engagement information.
Aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies individual participants may be retained for Course evaluation, reporting, research and business purposes.
Information contained in a testimonial may also be retained and used where you have provided consent for that use, in accordance with the terms of that consent.
11. Accessing or correcting your information
You may contact us if you would like to request access to personal information about you that we hold in connection with the Course, or if you believe that information is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or requires correction.
